Modeling:
The Star – Sony Pictures Animation
  • In house lead character modeler
  • Receive character sculpts with dynamic poses from the client, set them in a neutral pose and retopologize them while maintaining the integrity of the character design
  • Communicate with the rigging supervisor to make sure the models are as rig friendly as possible  

Elena of Avalor - Disney
  • spearheaded the character modeling team by sculpting a lot of the main characters on the show
  • Expedited the approval of the character’s look by running interactive sculpting sessions with clients including directors, art directors, and character designers
  • Designed exaggerated facial blendshapes to help out the rigging team

Kody Kapow – Sprout, NBCUniversal
  • Modeled some of the main characters on the show part time while I was focused mostly on Elena of Avalor

Barbie: Starlight Adventure – Mattel
  • Modeled everything from characters, environments, sets, and props

Trollhunters – DreamWorks Animation
  •  Asset modeling and quality control


Lighting and Compositing:
Tarzan and Jane – Netflix
  • Lighting and compositing an entire sequence
  • Looking at the sequence and choosing key shots to light first then propagate to the others
  • Follow director’s notes and making sure the shots follow continuity and capture the look and feel of the show

  • Created CG environments for pre-visualization purposes to be viewed in real time in Motion Builder matching the actual blueprint of the motion capture volume.
  • Calibrated MoCap cameras, marked up talent, and recorded range of motion
  •  Streamed MoCap data live from Vicon Blade to Motion Builder
  • Tracked data in Vicon Blade, removed noise, and made sure markers are labeled properly
